EN 410 explained: the standard behind real numbers

EN 410:2011 defines how glass and film performance is measured — so products can be compared fairly.

EN 410:2011 is the European standard that defines how glass and film performance is measured: visible light transmittance, solar energy transmittance and rejection, UV transmission and colour rendering.

When a datasheet quotes numbers "per EN 410", the values were measured with a standardised method — so two products can be compared fairly.

Our architectural films are tested to EN 410:2011, alongside ASTM E84 (flame and smoke) and EN 13501-1 (fire classification). If a supplier cannot show the test report, the numbers are marketing, not measurement.
